The 6th Jereh Cup Energy Equipment Innovative Design Competition for China Postgraduate held in Qingdao
Qingdao/October 18, 2019/the 6th Jereh Cup Energy Equipment Innovative Design Competition for China Postgraduate was held in China University of Petroleum.

Vice President of Jereh Group, Mr. Simon Xie, delivered the opening speech. He said, “As a corporate who actively contribute to CSR, Jereh has been sponsoring this competition for six years.
“What we pursue is to build a platform for talented students and innovative energy equipment. The academic community and companies are joining hands in cultivating talents and transforming technology into actual results.”
Vice-principle of China University of Petroleum (Qingdao), Mrs. Zhang Lingling, Director of China Petroleum & Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CPEIA), Mr. Song Zhilong, and Deputy Secretary of CPC at China University of Petroleum (Qingdao), Mr. Wan Yunbo were also present at the opening ceremony.
Over 4300 students from 151 universities participated in the competition.
The competition covered equipment design for Green & Efficient Oil & Gas, Offshore Energy Development, Wind Energy, Solar Energy and so forth, which attracted over 4300 students from 151 universities, creating a new record for the competition.
Representatives of the two grand-prize winning teams
Teams from China University of Petroleum (Qingdao) and Wuhan University of Technology won the Grand Prize.
Guided by the national strategic needs, the competition plays an important role in boosting the scientific and technological innovation ability of graduate students, the conversion of traditional energy equipment and new equipment development in China.
