Jereh Developed China's First Intelligent Pipe Layer

Yantai/January 18, China's first intelligent pipe layer was officially shipped. Independently developed by Jereh, the equipment is going to increase efficiency of oilfield operation significantly.

Jereh pipe layer lays pipes from water source to well site that is 3-5 km away, realizing distant water supply for factory fracturing. In this way, one water source is capable of supplying water to multiple well sites nearby in a radial manner. It lowers operation cost dramatically while speeding up the process of building up unmanned and intelligent well sites.

Traditionally, pipes are laid by forklift, with one person driving the forklift and another taking care of operation and safety issues. Therefore, the efficiency is quite unpleasant.

In the Northeast of China, ground tends to be soft and mushy when it defrosts in the spring. Forklift can easily get stuck in the mud, which makes the operation inconvenient and hard to conduct.

After having an in-depth discussion with clients and studying local working environment, Jereh team designed this customized product with innovative solutions.

Jereh intelligent pipe layer adopts tractor-type chassis to adapt to complicated road conditions, with 6-roller design able to raise the efficiency by 30%. What's more, automated control guarantees quick operation with much higher reliability.

Mr. Zhang Hongnai, Vice President of Jereh Group says, “Oil & gas industry is evolving towards an intelligent and automated future, which is exactly Jereh has been working on for years.” Jereh shall keep focusing on customers’ challenges and helping to increase efficiency by developing more advanced products and providing better service to clients.
